Environmental Public Health Act (Amendment of Fourth Schedule) Notification 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 116 of the Environment Public Health Act, the Minister for the Environment hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Environmental Public Health Act (Amendment of Fourth Schedule) Notification 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st March 1998.

Amendment of Fourth Schedule

2. The Fourth Schedule to the Environmental Public Health Act is amended by inserting, immediately after item 16, the following item:

“17. The prohibition and control of the burning of joss sticks and candles.”.
