(Border Enforcement Measures Fees)
(Amendment) Rules 2023
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 81B of the Trade Marks Act 1998, the Minister for Finance makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules are the Trade Marks (Border Enforcement Measures Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2023 and come into operation on 1 January 2024.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  In the Trade Marks (Border Enforcement Measures Fees) Rules 2019 (G.N. No. S 749/2019), in the Schedule, replace items 2, 3 and 4 with —
 
“2.For the escort of a conveyance conveying seized goods
 
$29 per half hour (or part of a half hour) of continuous escort
 
3.For the attendance of one or more authorised officers or senior authorised officers in connection with —
 
 
 
(a)the inspection of seized goods
 
$29 per half hour (or part of a half hour) of continuous attendance at the inspection
 
(b)the destruction of seized goods
 
$29 per half hour (or part of a half hour) of continuous attendance at the destruction
 
4.For the attendance of one or more authorised officers or senior authorised officers in connection with any other act or service under Part 10 of the Act
 
$29 per half hour (or part of a half hour) of continuous attendance at the operation”.
