Building Maintenance and
Strata Management (Composition of Offences)
(Amendment) Regulations 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 131(2) of the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act, the Minister for National Development makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Building Maintenance and Strata Management (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2018 and come into operation on 1 February 2019.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Building Maintenance and Strata Management (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2005 (G.N. No. S 193/2005) is amended —

(a)	by inserting, immediately after the words “an offence” in paragraph (a), the words “(other than a continuing offence)”; and
(b)	by deleting “48(3)” in paragraph (a) and substituting the words “48(1A) or (3), 120(2), 126(6)(b) or (c)”.
