Exemption) Notification 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Women’s International Tennis (Singapore) — Exemption) Notification 2019.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts the society registered under the Societies Act (Cap. 311) known as Women’s International Tennis (Singapore) (UEN T17SS0028B) (called in this Notification the organiser) from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	“The Autumn 2019 Awards Dinner” (called in this Notification the event) to be held from 6.45 p.m. to 9 p.m. on 28 November 2019 at Pan Pacific Hotel, 7 Raffles Boulevard, Marina Square, Singapore 039595; and
(b)	the draw for the lottery to be held at 9 p.m. on 28 November 2019 at the venue of the event.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
