(Exemption) (No. 83)
Notification 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 83) Notification 2014.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	the “Wondrous Christmas Fiesta” promotion to be held from 5 December 2014 to 28 December 2014 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)	the draws to be held 4 sessions hourly at the Main Casino Floor (B2M) at Marina Bay Sands as part of that promotion from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. between 24 December 2014 and 28 December 2014 (both dates inclusive).

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
