(COVID-19 Access Restrictions and Clearance)
(Amendment No. 13) Regulations 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73(1) of the Infectious Diseases Act 1976, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Infectious Diseases (COVID-19 Access Restrictions and Clearance) (Amendment No. 13) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 10 October 2022.

Amendment of regulation 1

2. In regulation 1 of the Infectious Diseases (COVID-19 Access Restrictions and Clearance) Regulations 2021 (G.N. No. S 273/2021) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations), delete “Access Restrictions and”.

Amendment of regulation 2

3. In regulation 2 of the principal Regulations —

(a)	in paragraph (1), delete the definitions of “bar”, “building”, “celebrant”, “cleared status (overseas temporary)”, “employee”, “enhanced entry control”, “entrant”, “movement control measure”, “nightclub”, “nuptial event”, “occupier”, “private social event”, “reasonable excuse”, “restricted period”, “restricted place”, “retail food and drinks business”, “retail food and drinks establishment”, “retail liquor business”, “sale”, “solemnization of a marriage”, “sporting activity” and “sporting event”, “uncleared junior” and “wedding”;
(b)	in paragraph (1) (paragraph (a) of definition of “cleared status”), insert “or” at the end;
(c)	in paragraph (1) (paragraph (b) of definition of “cleared status”), delete “or” at the end;
(d)	in paragraph (1) (definition of “cleared status”), delete paragraph (c);
(e)	in paragraph (1) (definition of “cleared status certificate”), replace “, 7A(2), (3) or (4) or 7B(2)” with “or 7A(2), (3) or (4)”;
(f)	in paragraph (1) (definition of “vaccinated”), replace the semi‑colon at the end with a full-stop; and
(g)	delete paragraph (6).

Deletion of regulations 3, 5 and 7B

4. Delete regulations 3, 5 and 7B of the principal Regulations.

Amendment of regulation 8A

5. In regulation 8A of the principal Regulations, delete paragraph (3B).

Deletion of Part 3

6. Delete Part 3 of the principal Regulations.

Amendment of First Schedule

7. In the First Schedule to the principal Regulations, in the Schedule reference, replace “, 6(3) and (4) and 7B(2)” with “and 6(3) and (4)”.

Deletion of Second Schedule

8. Delete the Second Schedule to the principal Regulations.
