Road Traffic (Electronic Road Pricing System) (Amendment) Rules 2007

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 34D and 140 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Electronic Road Pricing System) (Amendment) Rules 2007 and shall come into operation on 16th January 2007.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Road Traffic (Electronic Road Pricing System) Rules (R 38) is amended by deleting the item under the heading “SPECIFIED ROADS AND SPECIFIED ENTRY POINTS” in Part VIB and substituting the following items:

1. Orchard Road

Between the point where Stamford Road meets Orchard Road and the junction of Orchard Road and Handy Road on Orchard Road on the westbound carriageway.

2. Fort Canning Tunnel

At the end of Fort Canning Tunnel before it meets Penang Road.
