Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners
(Registration of Acupuncturists)
(Amendment) Regulations 2012
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14(4) of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners (Registration of Acupuncturists) (Amendment) Regulations 2012 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2012.
Amendment of regulation 4
2.  Regulation 4(2) of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners (Registration of Acupuncturists) Regulations (Rg 1) (referred to in these Regulations as the principal Regulations) is amended by deleting sub-paragraph (g) and substituting the following sub-paragraph:
(g)the fee for the application for registration specified in the First Schedule; and”.
Deletion of regulation 5
3.  Regulation 5 of the principal Regulations is deleted.
Deletion and substitution of First Schedule
4.  The First Schedule to the principal Regulations is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:
FIRST SCHEDULE
Regulations 4(2), 6(4), 10(1) and 12(2)
Fees
1.Fee for application for registration
$250
2.Fee for qualifying examination
$1,200
3.Fee for evaluation
$300
4.Fee for duplicate of certificate of registration
$50.
