(Exemption) (No. 5)
Notification 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 5) Notification 2018.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	the “Sands Rewards Lucky Draw” promotion to be held from 13 February 2018 to 11 March 2018 (both dates inclusive);
(b)	the draws to be held as part of that promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands in 3 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 10 March 2018 and 11 March 2018; and
(c)	the “Joyful Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands at 10.30 p.m. on 10 March 2018 and 11 March 2018.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
