Road Traffic
(Composition of Offences)
(Amendment) Rules 2013

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 135(2) of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Rules 2013 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2014.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Road Traffic (Composition of Offences) Rules (R 29) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “by the Minister for Transport” and substituting the words “personally by the Registrar of Vehicles appointed under section 9(1) of the Act”; and
(b)	by inserting, immediately after “6A(2),” in paragraph (a), “6B(1),”.
