Building Control (Amendment) Act 2012
(Saving Provision for Temporary Buildings)
Regulations 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 25(2) of the Building Control (Amendment) Act 2012, the Minister for National Development makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Building Control (Amendment) Act 2012 (Saving Provision for Temporary Buildings) Regulations 2018 and come into operation on 1 March 2019.

Saving of temporary buildings

2. Any building or structure that immediately before 1 March 2019 was a temporary building under the Building Control Act (Cap. 29) as in force immediately before that date continues to be treated as a temporary building after that date until the permit issued in respect of that temporary building lapses, expires or is revoked.
