Variation of Responsibility of Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies

It is notified for general information that the Prime Minister has, under Article 30(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, varied with effect from 28 January 2020, the Schedule to the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies) Notification 2019 (G.N. No. S 442/2019) —

(a)

by deleting the words “Money‑changing and Remittance Businesses” in item 2 under the heading “SUBJECTS”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately below the words “Payment and Settlement Systems” in item 2 under the heading “SUBJECTS”, the following words:

“Payment Services”.

2. This Notification is the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies) (Amendment) Notification 2019.
