Air Navigation (Changi Airport Fees) (Amendment) Order 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2)(o) of the Air Navigation Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Air Navigation (Changi Airport Fees) (Amendment) Order 2005 and shall come into operation on 26th March 2006.

Amendment of paragraph 2

2. Paragraph 2 of the Air Navigation (Changi Airport Fees) Order (O 3) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “specified in paragraph 10(1)” in the definition of “passenger security service charge” and substituting the words “of that description specified in paragraph 10(1)”; and
(b)	by deleting the words “specified in paragraph 10(1)” in the definition of “passenger service charge” and substituting the words “of that description specified in paragraph 10(1)”.

Deletion and substitution of paragraph 10

3. Paragraph 10 of the Air Navigation (Changi Airport Fees) Order is deleted and the following paragraph substituted therefor:

“Charges to be paid by passengers

10.—(1) Subject to paragraph 11, the following charges shall be paid to the Authority by every passenger embarking on an aircraft at the aerodrome:

Terminal building of embarkation

Passenger service charge

Passenger security service charge

(a) Budget terminal

$6.

(b) Any other terminal

$15

$6.

(2) The Authority may collect the passenger service charge and passenger security service charge referred to in sub-paragraph (1) —

(a)	from every passenger embarking on an aircraft at the budget terminal of the aerodrome, in a lump sum of $13; or
(b)	from every passenger embarking on an aircraft at any other terminal of the aerodrome, in a lump sum of $21.”.
