Maintenance of Parents
(Amendment No. 3) Rules 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of the Maintenance of Parents Act, the Minister for Social and Family Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Maintenance of Parents (Amendment No. 3) Rules 2014 and shall come into operation on 1 January 2015.

Amendment of rule 15

2. Rule 15 of the Maintenance of Parents Rules (R 1) is amended by deleting the words “Order 55A of the Rules of Court” and substituting the words “Division 56 of Part 18 of the Family Justice Rules 2014 (G.N. No. S 813/2014)”.
