(125 — Complex General Aviation)
(Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2022
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Air Navigation Act 1966, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Air Navigation (125 — Complex General Aviation) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 3 November 2022.
Replacement of regulation 34
2.  In the Air Navigation (125 — Complex General Aviation) Regulations 2018 (G.N. No. S 501/2018), replace regulation 34 with —
Choosing aerodrome or landing site
34.  Before selecting an aerodrome or a landing site for use in any complex general aviation operation, a CGAC holder engaging in the complex general aviation operation must assess, in accordance with the procedures specified in the Operations Manual of the CGAC holder, the aerodrome or landing site as being adequate in terms of its facilities and services for the aircraft type and the conditions under which the aircraft is to be operated in the complex general aviation operation, taking into account —
(a)the procedures applicable at the aerodrome or landing site; and
(b)the level of safety risk associated with the aircraft type and the nature of the complex general aviation operation, in relation to the availability of rescue and firefighting services at the aerodrome or landing site.”.
