(Exemption) (No. 52)
Notification 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 52) Notification 2018.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	the “Marina Bay Sands Festive Draw Series — 2019 New Year Draw” promotion to be held from 19 December 2018 to 1 January 2019 (both dates inclusive);
(b)	the “99 Special Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands at 12.30 a.m. and 1.30 a.m. on 1 January 2019; and
(c)	the “2019 Finale Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands at 2.30 a.m. on 1 January 2019.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
