(Fees) (Amendment No. 2)
Regulations 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 57 of the Healthcare Services Act 2020, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Healthcare Services (Fees) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2023 and come into operation on 18 December 2023.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. In the Healthcare Services (Fees) Regulations 2021 (G.N. No. S 1032/2021) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations), in the First Schedule —

(a)

in Part 1, in item 23, in the first column, in paragraph (b)(ii), delete the semi-colon at the end;

(b)

in Part 1, in item 23, in the first column, in paragraph (b), delete sub‑paragraph (iii);

(c)

in Part 1, in item 24, in the first column, in paragraph (b)(ii), delete the semi‑colon at the end;

(d)

in Part 1, in item 24, in the first column, in paragraph (b), delete sub‑paragraph (iii);

(e)

in Part 1, in item 103, in the first column, in paragraph (b), replace “provisions” with “provision”;

(f)

in Part 1, after item 106, insert —

“

Nursing home service

107.

(a)	Application for and grant or renewal of a licence to provide a nursing home service; and

(b)	approval for one permanent premises to be used in the provision of the service

$1,100

108.

Application for and grant of approval for any additional permanent premises to be used in the provision of the service, where application is made at the same time as applications mentioned in item 107

$1,100 for each permanent premises

109.

(a)	Late renewal application for a licence mentioned in item 107(a); and

(b)	approval mentioned in item 107(b)

$220, in addition to fee payable for item 107

110.

Application for and grant of approval for any additional permanent premises, where application is made at the same time as applications mentioned in item 109

$220 for each permanent premises, in addition to fee payable for item 108

”;

(g)

in Part 2, in item 7, in the first column, in paragraph (b), delete the semi‑colon at the end;

(h)

in Part 2, in item 7, in the first column, delete paragraph (c); and

(i)

in Part 2, after item 27, insert —

“

Licence to provide nursing home service

28.

Application, during the course of the licence to provide a nursing home service, for and grant of approval for any additional permanent premises to be used in the provision of the service

$1,100 for each permanent premises

”.

Amendment of Second Schedule

3. In the principal Regulations, in the Second Schedule —

(a)

in item 3, in the first column, in paragraph (b), replace “for the provision” with “in the provision”;

(b)

in item 5, in the first column, in paragraph (b), replace “for the provision of the service;” with “in the provision of the service; and”;

(c)

in item 5, in the first column, in paragraph (c), delete “; and” at the end;

(d)

in item 5, in the first column, delete paragraph (d);

(e)

in item 6, in the first column, in paragraph (b), insert “and” at the end;

(f)

in item 6, in the first column, in paragraph (c), delete “; and” at the end;

(g)

in item 6, in the first column, delete paragraph (d);

(h)

in item 22, in the first column, in paragraph (b), replace “approval of” with “approval for”;

(i)

in item 23, in the first column, in paragraph (b), replace “approval of” with “approval for”; and

(j)

after item 23, insert —

“

24.

(a)	Late renewal application for a licence to provide a nursing home service; and

(b)	approval for one permanent premises to be used in the provision of the service

$220

”.

Amendment of Third Schedule

4. In the principal Regulations, in the Third Schedule, after item 27, insert —

“

28.

Nursing home service

Application for and grant of approval for either of the following specified services to be provided at any permanent premises:

(a)	collaborative prescribing service;

(b)	inpatient hospice

$900 for each permanent premises

29.

Nursing home service

Application for and grant of approval for both specified services mentioned in item 28 to be provided at any permanent premises

$1,700 for each permanent premises

30.

Nursing home service

Application for and grant of approval for both of the following specified services to be provided at any permanent premises:

(a)	blood transfusion service;

(b)	inpatient hospice

$1,700 for each permanent premises

31.

Nursing home service

Application for and grant of approval for all of the following specified services to be provided at any permanent premises:

(a)	blood transfusion service;

(b)	collaborative prescribing service;

(c)	inpatient hospice

$2,500 for each permanent premises

”.
