(Amendment) Regulations 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 64 of the Insurance Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Insurance (General Provisions) (Amendment) Regulations 2018 and come into operation on 1 January 2019.

Amendment of regulation 3

2. Regulation 3(11) of the Insurance (General Provisions) Regulations (Rg 17) is amended by the deleting the definition of “Special Purpose Reinsurance Vehicle” and substituting the following definition:

“ “Special Purpose Reinsurance Vehicle” has the meaning given by the Insurance (General Provisions and Exemptions for Special Purpose Reinsurance Vehicles) Regulations 2018 (G.N. No. S 837/2018);”.
