(Exemption) (No. 87)
Notification 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 87) Notification 2014.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Candy 3 Giveaway” promotion to be held from 29 December 2014 to 1 February 2015 (both dates inclusive); and

(b)

the following draws to be held at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands as part of that promotion:

(i)	5 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight on 16 and 17 January 2015, respectively;
(ii)	5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 18 January 2015;
(iii)	5 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight on 30 and 31 January 2015, respectively;
(iv)	5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 1 February 2015.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
