Child Development Co-Savings
(Amendment No. 4) Regulations 2015
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3 and 20 of the Child Development Co‑Savings Act, the Minister for Social and Family Development makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Child Development Co‑Savings (Amendment No. 4) Regulations 2015 and come into operation on 3 January 2016.
Amendment of regulation 2
2.  Regulation 2 of the Child Development Co‑Savings Regulations (Rg 2) is amended by deleting paragraph (a) of the definition of “optical shop” and substituting the following paragraph:
“(a)a person engaged in the business of retail sale of optical appliances and who is registered or deemed registered under any written law administered by the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority; or”.
Amendment of regulation 11
3.  Regulation 11(9) of the Child Development Co‑Savings Regulations is amended by deleting the words “the Business Registration Act (Cap. 32), the Companies Act (Cap. 50) or any other written law” in sub-paragraph (c)(viii) and substituting the words “any written law administered by the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority”.
