Criminal Procedure Code
(Amendment of First Schedule)
Order 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 427(1) of the Criminal Procedure Code, the Minister for Law makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Criminal Procedure Code (Amendment of First Schedule) Order 2019 and comes into operation on 2 January 2020.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Criminal Procedure Code is amended —

(a)	by deleting the word “Ditto” under the third column in the item relating to section 427 and substituting the words “May arrest without warrant”; and
(b)	by deleting the word “Bailable” under the fifth column in the item relating to section 451 and substituting the words “Not bailable”.
