(Amendment) Regulations 2020
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 64(1) of the CareShield Life and Long‑Term Care Act 2019, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the CareShield Life and Long‑Term Care (Long‑Term Care Support Fund — Prescribed Public Scheme) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 and come into operation on 1 October 2020.
Amendment of regulation 1
2.  Regulation 1 of the CareShield Life and Long‑Term Care (Long‑Term Care Support Fund — Prescribed Public Scheme) Regulations 2019 (G.N. No. S 869/2019) is amended by deleting the word “Scheme” and substituting the word “Schemes”.
Deletion and substitution of regulation 2
3.  Regulation 2 of the CareShield Life and Long‑Term Care (Long‑Term Care Support Fund — Prescribed Public Scheme) Regulations 2019 is deleted and the following regulation substituted therefor:
“Prescribed public schemes
2.  For the purposes of section 39(1)(c) of the Act, the following schemes established by the Government are prescribed public schemes:
(a)the ElderFund Scheme;
(b)the Withdrawal from Medisave Account for Long‑Term Care Scheme (also known as the Medisave Care Scheme).”.
