Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act
(Amendment of Second Schedule) (No. 2)
Notification 2019
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 47 of the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act, the Minister for Law makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification is the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act (Amendment of Second Schedule) (No. 2) Notification 2019 and comes into operation on 1 January 2020.
Amendment of Second Schedule
2.  The Second Schedule to the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act is amended —
(a)by inserting, immediately after the words “Section 204A” in the first column of item 164, the words “(as in force before 1 January 2020)”;
(b)by deleting the word “wandering” in the second column of item 286;
(c)by inserting, immediately after the words “Section 407” in the first column of item 291, the words “(as in force before 1 January 2020)”;
(d)by inserting, immediately after the words “Section 408” in the first column of item 292, the words “(as in force before 1 January 2020)”;
(e)by inserting, immediately after the words “Section 409” in the first column of item 293, the words “(as in force before 1 January 2020)”;
(f)by deleting the words “Dishonestly receiving” in the second column of items 294 and 295 and substituting in each case the word “Receiving”;
(g)by deleting the word “House‑trespass” in the second column of items 316, 317, 318 and 319 and substituting in each case the word “House‑breaking”;
(h)by inserting, immediately after the words “Section 453” in the first column of item 320, the words “(as in force before 1 January 2020)”;
(i)by deleting the words “lurking house‑trespass or” in the second column of item 326;
(j)by deleting the words “Lurking house-trespass by night or house‑breaking by night” in the second column of item 327 and substituting the word “House‑breaking”;
(k)by inserting, immediately after the words “Section 489A” in the first column of item 345, the words “(as in force before 1 January 2020)”;
(l)by deleting the words “currency notes” in the second column of items 346 and 347 and substituting in each case the word “currency”;
(m)by inserting, immediately after item 355, the following heading and items:
