Hazardous Waste
(Control of Export, Import and Transit)
(Amendment) Regulations 2020
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 48 of the Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) Act, the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 and are deemed to have come into operation on 1 April 2020.
Amendment of heading to Part IV
2.  Part IV of the Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) Regulations (Rg 1) is amended by deleting the word “DIRECTOR” in the Part heading and substituting the word “DIRECTOR‑GENERAL”.
Miscellaneous amendments
3.  The Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) Regulations are amended by deleting the word “Director” wherever it appears in the following provisions and substituting in each case the word “Director‑General”:
