COVID-19 (Temporary Measures)
(Rental and Related Measures)
(Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2020
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19X of the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020, the Minister for Law makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) (Rental and Related Measures) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2020 and come into operation on 19 October 2020.
New regulation 6A
2.  The COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) (Rental and Related Measures) Regulations 2020 (G.N. No. S 664/2020) are amended by inserting, immediately after regulation 6 in Part 1, the following regulation:
“Section 3 prescribed period
6A.  For the purposes of Part 2A of the Act, where the prescribed period for the purposes of Parts 1 and 2 of the Act is extended by an order made under section 3(2) of the Act, a reference to the last date of the section 3 prescribed period is to the last date of that prescribed period so extended.”.
Amendment of regulation 40
3.  Regulation 40(3) of the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) (Rental and Related Measures) Regulations 2020 is amended by deleting the words “1 November 2020” and substituting the words “1 December 2020”.
