Environmental Public Health
(Public Cleansing) (Amendment No. 2)
Regulations 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 111 of the Environmental Public Health Act, the National Environment Agency, with the approval of the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Environmental Public Health (Public Cleansing) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2020 and come into operation on 1 January 2021.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. The Second Schedule to the Environmental Public Health (Public Cleansing) Regulations (Rg 3) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “Veolia ES Singapore Pte. Ltd.” in paragraphs 4 and 9 and substituting in each case the words “SembWaste Pte. Ltd.”;
(b)	by deleting “$35.14” in paragraphs 4(2)(a) and 9(2)(a) and substituting in each case “$42.61”;
(c)	by deleting “$152.13” in paragraphs 4(2)(b) and 9(2)(b) and substituting in each case “$184.45”;
(d)	by deleting “$219.63” in paragraphs 4(2)(c) and 9(2)(c) and substituting in each case “$266.28”;
(e)	by deleting “$462.83” in paragraphs 4(2)(d) and 9(2)(d) and substituting in each case “$561.13”;
(f)	by deleting “$718.88” in paragraphs 4(2)(e) and 9(2)(e) and substituting in each case “$871.57”; and
(g)	by deleting “$35.14” in paragraphs 4(3) and 9(3) and substituting in each case “$42.61”.

Amendment of Sixth Schedule

3. The Sixth Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “VEOLIA ES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD.” in the Schedule heading and substituting the words “SEMBWASTE PTE. LTD.”.

Amendment of Eleventh Schedule

4. The Eleventh Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “VEOLIA ES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD.” in the Schedule heading and substituting the words “SEMBWASTE PTE. LTD.”.
