Interpretation
(Delegation of Powers — Ministry of
Education) Notification 2016
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36(1) of the Interpretation Act, Mr Ng Chee Meng, Senior Minister of State, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Education (Schools), with the approval of the President, makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification is the Interpretation (Delegation of Powers — Ministry of Education) Notification 2016 and is deemed to have come into operation on 26 January 2016.
Delegation of powers
2.  The Minister of State, Ministry of Education, is deputed to exercise the powers of the Minister under —
(a)sections 4 to 9, 15 and 16 of the National Cadet Corps Act (Cap. 194); and
(b)sections 4 to 8, 14 and 15 of the National Police Cadet Corps Act (Cap. 199).
Amendment of Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Education) (Consolidation) Notification
3.  The Schedule to the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Education) (Consolidation) Notification (N 5) is amended by deleting paragraphs (b) and (c) in the second column.
