| Citation |
| 1. This Notification may be cited as the Factories (Industrial Safety Helmets and Footwear) Notification. |
| Industrial safety helmets and footwear |
| 2. The industrial safety helmets and footwear provided and maintained for the use of persons employed in a factory under section 62(2) and (5) of the Act shall be tested to conform to the Singapore Standard No. SS98 and the Singapore Standard No. SS105 respectively, and be of a type approved by a testing authority acceptable to the Chief Inspector. |
