Notice to produce dog for inspection
12.—(1)  The Licensing Officer may at any time by notice by registered post addressed to the owner of a dog or to any person reasonably believed to be keeping a dog or to be permitting the keeping of a dog in premises of which he is the occupier to produce the dog for inspection at an animal infirmary within 7 days of receipt of the notice.
(2)  The owner of the dog or the person who keeps the dog or who permits the dog to be kept in premises of which he is the occupier shall comply with the requirements of the notice issued by the Licensing Officer under this rule.
(3)  Any such dog may be released, destroyed after examination, treated in the infirmary until cured, or destroyed whilst under treatment and the Licensing Officer may recover the expenses of such treatment from the person to whom the notice was addressed.
