Credentials Committees
2.—(1)  The Council shall appoint a committee, to be known as the Credentials Committee, for each prescribed allied health profession to advise the Council —
(a)whether an applicant for registration under section 21 of the Act should —
(i)be registered with full, restricted, conditional or temporary registration, as the case may be;
(ii)be refused registration; or
(iii)be required to undergo and pass an examination under section 19(2) of the Act; and
(b)where applicable, whether such registration should be subject to any condition or restriction.
(2)  Every Credentials Committee shall consist of at least one member of the Council and such number of other persons as the Council may determine.
(3)  The Council shall appoint a member of each Credentials Committee as the Chairman of that Committee.
(4)  The members of the Credentials Committee shall hold office for a period of 3 years and shall be eligible for re-appointment for further terms not exceeding 3 years each.
