Shared paths
3.—(1)  A path on State land that —
(a)is surfaced with bituminous surfacing material, asphalt, concrete or pavers;
(aa)if the path abuts on a footpath, is either —
(i)demarcated with a red or yellow line (whether continuous or broken) of 100 millimetres in width; or
(ii)red, blue, green or yellow in colour, or coated with a dark grey fibre reinforced polymer cement coating;

(b)is usually at least 2 metres but not more than 4 metres in width; and
(c)is specified or described in the First Schedule,
is each declared to be a shared path for the purposes of the Act.
(2)  A path on HDB land that —
(a)is surfaced with bituminous surfacing material, asphalt, concrete or pavers;
(aa)if the path abuts on a footpath, is either —
(i)demarcated with a red or yellow line (whether continuous or broken) of 100 millimetres in width; or
(ii)red, blue, green or yellow in colour, or coated with a dark grey fibre reinforced polymer cement coating;

(b)is usually at least one metre but not more than 4 metres in width; and
(c)is specified or described in the Second Schedule,
is each declared to be a shared path for the purposes of the Act.
(3)  A path on land vested in or under the control or management of the National Parks Board that —
(a)is surfaced with bituminous surfacing material, asphalt, concrete or pavers;
(aa)if the path abuts on a footpath, is demarcated with a red or yellow line (whether continuous or broken) of 100 millimetres in width;

(ab)if the path abuts on a pedestrian‑only path, is demarcated with a continuous red line of 100 millimetres in width;

(b)is usually at least 2.5 metres but not more than 6 metres in width; and
(c)is specified or described in the Third Schedule,
is each declared to be a shared path for the purposes of the Act.
