| Exemption for trial personal mobility device riders |
3. Sections 16(1)(a), 19(1), 20A, 21 and 28B(1) of the Act do not apply to an individual riding a trial personal mobility device on a footpath or shared path under the following conditions:

| Exemption for ST Electronics |
| 4. Section 28B(2) of the Act does not apply to ST Electronics where it causes or permits an individual exempt under paragraph 3 to ride an unregistered registrable personal mobility device on a footpath or shared path. |
| Exemption for trial bicycle riders |
5. Section 21 of the Act does not apply to an individual riding a trial bicycle on a footpath or shared path under the following conditions:
