Business Names Registration Act 2014

Business Names Registration (Exemption from
Registration) Regulations 2015
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 43 of the Business Names Registration Act 2014, the Minister for Finance makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Business Names Registration (Exemption from Registration) Regulations 2015 and come into operation on 3 January 2016.
Exemption
2.  The following persons are exempt from the requirement to register under the Act:
(a)any individual licensed under section 33 or 34 of the Environmental Public Health Act (Cap. 95);
(b)the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency established under the Convention Establishing the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency.
Cancellation
3.  The following Notifications are cancelled:
(a)the Business Registration (Exemption for Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency) Notification (Cap. 32, N 1);
(b)the Business Registration (Exemption of Accounting Firms) Notification (Cap. 32, N 2).
