Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 24) Notification 2008
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 24) Notification 2008.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts the Singapore Recreation Club from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “SRC Charity Line Dance 2008” promotion from 20th August 2008 to 4th October 2008 (both dates inclusive) and the draw on 4th October 2008.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by the Singapore Recreation Club with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 19th August 2008.
