Notification 2017
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 37) Notification 2017.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —
(a)the “Progressive Jackpot Lucky Draw” promotion to be held from 22 August 2017 to 9 June 2018 (both dates inclusive);
(b)the “Premium Draw (Table Games)” to be held as part of that promotion at the Paiza buffet area, Casino Atrium 2 at Marina Bay Sands at 9 p.m. on the following dates:
(i)2 September 2017;
(ii)7 October 2017;
(iii)11 November 2017;
(iv)9 December 2017;
(v)13 January 2018;
(vi)10 February 2018;
(vii)10 March 2018;
(viii)14 April 2018;
(ix)12 May 2018;
(x)9 June 2018;
(c)the “Progressive Jackpot Draw (Table Games)” to be held as part of that promotion at the Paiza buffet area, Casino Atrium 2 at Marina Bay Sands at 10 p.m. on the following dates:
(i)2 September 2017;
(ii)7 October 2017;
(iii)11 November 2017;
(iv)9 December 2017;
(v)13 January 2018;
(vi)10 February 2018;
(vii)10 March 2018;
(viii)14 April 2018;
(ix)12 May 2018;
(x)9 June 2018;
(d)the “Premium Draw (Slots)” to be held as part of that promotion at the Dragon Slots Room, Casino Atrium 2 at Marina Bay Sands at 9 p.m. on the following dates:
(i)2 September 2017;
(ii)7 October 2017;
(iii)11 November 2017;
(iv)9 December 2017;
(v)13 January 2018;
(vi)10 February 2018;
(vii)10 March 2018;
(viii)14 April 2018;
(ix)12 May 2018;
(x)9 June 2018; and
(e)the “Progressive Jackpot Draw (Slots)” to be held as part of that promotion at the Dragon Slots Room, Casino Atrium 2 at Marina Bay Sands at 9.30 p.m. on the following dates:
(i)2 September 2017;
(ii)7 October 2017;
(iii)11 November 2017;
(iv)9 December 2017;
(v)13 January 2018;
(vi)10 February 2018;
(vii)10 March 2018;
(viii)14 April 2018;
(ix)12 May 2018;
(x)9 June 2018.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
