(Mahjong Networking Session 2019 —
Exemption) Notification 2019
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Mahjong Networking Session 2019 — Exemption) Notification 2019.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister exempts Kampong Ubi Community Centre Senior Citizens’ Executive Committee (called in this Notification the organiser) from the provisions of the Act in respect of —
(a)the “Mahjong Networking Session 2019” promotion to be held from 1 July 2019 to 29 September 2019 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)the mahjong games to be held at the multi‑purpose hall of Kampong Ubi Community Centre from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on 29 September 2019.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
