(Exemption) (No. 47)
Notification 2014
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 47) Notification 2014.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —
(a)the “Mega Race” promotion to be held from 13th July 2014 to 18th September 2014 (both dates inclusive);
(b)the kiosk games to be held at all Sands Rewards Club kiosks within the premises of the casino of Marina Bay Sands as part of the “Mega Race” promotion from 8.21 p.m. each day between 20th July 2014 and 17th September 2014 (both dates inclusive) to before 8.20 p.m. the following day; and
(c)the draws to be held at the Main Casino Floor (B2M) at Marina Bay Sands as part of the “Mega Race” promotion at 8.30 p.m. each day between 21st July 2014 and 18th September 2014 (both dates inclusive).
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
