(Exemption) (No. 30)
Notification 2011
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 30) Notification 2011
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “King of Slots” promotion to be held from 22nd August 2011 to 28th August 2011 (both dates inclusive) (referred to in this paragraph as the relevant period) and the draws to be held at the Events and Promotion Counter located at the Main Casino Floor B2M Zone within the premises of the casino at Marina Bay Sands at 9 p.m. daily during the relevant period.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 18th August 2011.
