(Exemption) (No. 45)
Notification 2013

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 45) Notification 2013.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Rock the Barrel” promotion to be held from 26th September 2013 to 1st December 2013 (both dates inclusive); and

(b)

the following draws to be held as part of the “Rock the Barrel” promotion at the Main Casino Floor (B2M) at Marina Bay Sands:

(i)	3 sessions hourly from 10 p.m. to 12 midnight on 4th October 2013 and 5th October 2013, respectively;
(ii)	3 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 6th October 2013;
(iii)	3 sessions hourly from 10 p.m. to 12 midnight on 29th November 2013 and 30th November 2013, respectively; and
(iv)	3 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 1st December 2013.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
