Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister Without Portfolio) Notification 1997
Responsibility of Minister without portfolio
It is hereby notified for general information that in pursuance of Article 30 of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister has directed that Mr Lim Boon Heng shall, with effect from 25th January 1997, be charged with responsibility —
(a)to advise the Prime Minister on matters relating to maintenance of industrial peace, productivity of Singapore’s workforce, the well-being and welfare of workers; and
(b)to discharge such other duties as may be assigned by the Prime Minister,
and that he shall be designated as the Minister without Portfolio.
Citation
2.  This Notification may be cited as the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister without Portfolio) Notification 1997.
