Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister, Prime Minister’s Office) (No. 2) Notification 2001
Responsibility of Minister, Prime Minister’s Office
It is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of Article 30(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister has directed that Mr Lim Boon Heng shall, with effect from 23rd November 2001, be charged with the responsibility —
(a)to advise the Prime Minister on matters relating to maintenance of industrial peace, productivity of Singapore’s workforce, and the well-being and welfare of workers; and
(b)to discharge such other duties as may be assigned by the Prime Minister,
and that he shall be designated as the Minister, Prime Minister’s Office.
Citation
2.  This Notification may be cited as the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister, Prime Minister’s Office) (No. 2) Notification 2001.
Cancellation
3.  The Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister without Portfolio) Notification 1997 (G.N. No. S 55/97) is cancelled.
