Responsibility for Portfolio of Minister for Culture, Community and Youth

It is notified for general information that the Prime Minister has, under Article 30(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, directed that with effect from 1 October 2015, Dr Yaacob Ibrahim is charged with the responsibility for the portfolio of the Minister for Culture, Community and Youth insofar as the responsibility relates to —

(a)	the Majlis Ugama Islam, Singapura;
(b)	the Syariah Court;
(c)	the Registry of Muslim Marriages;
(d)	the registration of Muslim marriages and Muslim divorces; and
(e)	Muslim affairs.

Citation

2. This Notification may be cited as the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility for the Portfolio of the Minister for Culture, Community and Youth) Notification 2015.

Cancellation

3. The Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility for the Portfolio of the Minister for Culture, Community and Youth) (No. 2) Notification 2012 (G.N. No. S 559/2012) is cancelled.
