Citation
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Control of Plants (Composition of Offences) Rules.
Compoundable offences
2.  The following offences may be compounded by the Director in accordance with section 44 of the Act:
(a)an offence under section 6, 7, 11, 12 (1) or (2), 20 (6) or (7), 21 (2), 24 (3), 35 (5) or 39 of the Act;

(b)an offence under rule 4 (2), 5, 6 (2), 7 (2), 8 (4), 10 (3), 11 (2) or 12 of the Control of Plants (Import and Transhipment of Fresh Fruits and Vegetables) Rules 1999 (G.N. No. S 9/99);

(c)an offence under rule 23 (5) (a) or (b), 24 (2) or 26 of the Control of Plants (Cultivation of Plants) (Licensing and Certification) Rules (R 2);
[S 11/1999 wef 08/01/1999]
(d)an offence under rule 11(2) or 12(2) of the Control of Plants (Registration of Pesticides) Rules [R 3]; and
(e)an offence under rule 4(1), 5, 6, 7(1), 12(2) and 17(b) and (c) of the Control of Plants (Plant Importation) Rules [R 4].
