Appointment of Authorised Officers

It is hereby notified for general information that, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 (3) of the Environmental Pollution Control Act 1999, the Director of Environmental Pollution Control has appointed, with effect from 1st April 1999 —

(1)	the Engineering Service Officers, the Technical Support Officers, the Scientific Officers, the Environmental Health Officers and the Laboratory Officers of the Environmental Policy and Management Division; and
(2)	the Commissioner of Public Health, the Deputy Commissioners of Public Health, the Assistant Commissioners of Public Health, the Engineering Service Officers and the Environmental Health Officers of the Environmental Public Health Division,

of the Ministry of the Environment to be authorised officers for the purposes of the Act.

2. The Clean Air (Appointment of Authorised Officers) Notification (Cap. 45, N 1) is cancelled.
