Citation

1. These Rules may be cited as the Endangered Species (Import and Export) (Composition of Offences) Rules.

Compoundable offences

2. The following offences may be compounded by the Director-General in accordance with section 25 of the Act:

(a)	any offence under section 4(1), (2) or (3), 5(2), 8(4), 13(3), 15(12), 16(b) or 17(1)(a) of the Act;
(b)	any offence under section 19 of the Act, where the offence referred to in that section as being abetted or attempted is a compoundable offence under paragraph (a). [G.N. No. S 381/2008]
