Immigration (Multiple Journey Visit Pass Holders — Exemption) Order 2007
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 56 of the Immigration Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Immigration (Multiple Journey Visit Pass Holders — Exemption) Order 2007 and shall come into operation on 20th November 2007.
Exemption from embarkation card and disembarkation card requirements
2.  Subject to paragraph 3, a non-citizen who is issued with a multiple journey visit pass under regulation 12 of the Immigration Regulations (Rg 1) entitling him to enter Singapore and remain temporarily therein on more than one occasion shall, for the duration of the validity of that pass, be exempt from —
(a)section 6(2) of the Act; and
(b)regulation 19 of the Immigration Regulations.
Conditions when exemption will cease
3.—(1)  If circumstances change so that —
(a)any of the following particulars furnished by or on behalf of a non-citizen in the non‐citizen’s application form for a multiple journey visit pass under regulation 12 of the Immigration Regulations (Rg 1) is incorrect in the new circumstances:
(i)the non-citizen’s name and nationality;
(ii)the number and type of travel document the non-citizen uses or will use to enter Singapore;
(iii)the date of issue and expiry of the travel document the non-citizen uses or will use to enter Singapore;
(iv)the non-citizen’s address in Singapore; or
(b)an answer to a question in the non‐citizen’s application form for the multiple journey visit pass is incorrect in the new circumstances,
and the non-citizen fails, within a period of 14 days after the change, to inform an immigration officer in writing of the new circumstances and of the correct particulars in those circumstances or the correct answer in those circumstances to the question, the exemption in paragraph 2 shall, on the 15th day after the change, cease to apply to the non-citizen to whom the multiple journey visit pass is issued.
(2)  Without prejudice to sub-paragraph (1), the exemption in paragraph 2 shall also not apply to a non-citizen to whom a multiple journey visit pass under regulation 12 of the Immigration Regulations is issued if the non-citizen gave incorrect information in his application form for the multiple journey visit pass.
