(Delegation of Powers —
Ministry of Home Affairs)
Notification 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36(1) of the Interpretation Act, the Minister for Home Affairs, with the approval of the President, makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Interpretation (Delegation of Powers — Ministry of Home Affairs) Notification 2018 and comes into operation on 5 July 2018.

Delegation of powers

2. The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, is deputed to exercise the powers of the Minister conferred by —

(a)	paragraph (e) of the definition of “authorised officer”; and
(b)	paragraph (a) of the definition of “Suspicious Transaction Reporting Officer”,

in section 2(1) of the Corruption, Drug Trafficking and Other Serious Crimes (Confiscation of Benefits) Act (Cap. 65A).
