Citation
1.  This Order may be cited as the Medicines (Non-Medicinal Products) (Consolidation) Order.
Definition of “medicinal products”
2.  For the purposes of the Act, “medicinal product” shall not include any of the following substances or products:
(a)anti-wrinkle or rejuvenation substances which do not contain any ingredient specified in the Poisons Act [Cap. 234];

(b)substances used for the treatment of freckles and age-spots which do not contain any ingredient specified in the Poisons Act;
(c)sunscreen substances which do not contain any ingredient specified in the Poisons Act;
(d)face cleansers which help to prevent pimples and acnes (excluding those for the treatment of pimples) which do not contain any ingredient specified in the Poisons Act;
(e)substances used for the treatment of nappy rash and prickly heat which do not contain any ingredient specified in the Poisons Act;
(f)ginseng tea;
(g)garlic pills;
(h)high protein preparations or substances used for slimming;
(i)oyster, yeast or mushroom extracts;
(j)herbal tea drinks;
(k)anti-dandruff preparations which do not contain any ingredient specified in the Poisons Act;
(l)health foods with vague or general medicinal claims;
(m)sweets for relieving cough and throat irritations;
(n)staminade powder;
(o)mouthwashes and gargles for bad breath and for general oral hygiene;
(p)substances used for bleaching and to reduce pigmentation which do not contain any ingredient specified in the Poisons Act; and
(q)Phisoderm (oily and normal formulations).
