| 76. The test-pieces shall withstand being bent, without fracture, through an angle of 60° if the tensile strength is between 35 and 40 tons per square inch, and, in the case of other castings, through an angle of 90°: but, if they are required to be of the superior quality referred to in rule 75(2) the angle shall not be less than 120°. The internal radius of the bend in each case shall not be greater than one inch. |
