Planning (Exemption under Section 53) (No. 5) Notification 2007

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 53 of the Planning Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Planning (Exemption under Section 53) (No. 5) Notification 2007 and shall come into operation on 14th September 2007.

Exemption

2. The Minister hereby exempts Lots 06634K and 09268T MK26 at 17 Martia Road from section 37(3) of the Act and rule 14 of the Planning (Development Charges) Rules (R 5) with regard to the development of the said land which is the subject of the application for written permission submitted by The Lady Superior of the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus in Penang to the competent authority on 20th April 2007 and the subject of a further application for written permission submitted by The Lady Superior of the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus in Penang to the competent authority on 5th May 2009.
